grilled cheese rollsGrilled Cheese Rolls

Yup, I’m I’m sharing a food post with you. These grilled cheese rolls were too tasty and too easy to make not to share, and made in 4 simple steps. We also made our own tomato soup to go along with, but today I’m just going to share with you how to make these dipping friendly cheese delights.

How to make the grilled cheese rolls:

  1. Flatten white bread or bread of choice (crust optional)
  2. Put cheese of your choice on top and then roll the bread
  3. Heat some butter on medium heat in skillet
  4. Place roll seem side down and cook to your liking

Done! Then it’s just cheesy bliss from here.

Learn how to infuse vodka with Jolly Rancher candies. You can whip up batches of five Jolly Ranchers Vodka flavors in only twelve to fourteen hours with minimal labor on your part, so they make wonderful, affordable, memorable gifts, too. What you get in the end pure vodka, so they’re very strong on the alcohol. The flavors are exactly what you’d expect: at first, you just taste the Jolly Ranchers in liquid form, exactly like the candies always tasted. Then the vodka kicks in with its characteristic flavorless burn. You can definitely drink these straight up as flavored martinis or shooters, and they’re a lot of fun. Learn how to create this awesomeness here at mixthatdrink.com/jolly-ranchers-vodka/

I think these would be pretty cool to have and a definite conversation starter. You’re creating from something you’d throw away anyways. It’s recycling at it’s finest.

Warning: this stunt involves sharp edges, breaking glass and fire. But if you’re careful, it could also involve fun.

STEP 1:

Pick a brand with a sturdy but attractive bottle. (Try Grolsch or Darling Brew’s dumpie-style bottle. Corona’s also good, because the bottle is especially thick.) Tie a string tightly around the empty bottle just above the label.

STEP 2:

Slip the string off and soak it in lighter fluid. (Keep your fingers dry!)

STEP 3:

Put the string back on the bottle and light it. Hold the bottle horizontally and rotate it so the flame spreads. Wait to hear the bottle crack slightly, about 10 seconds.

STEP 4:

Pour cold water on the string. The top of the bottle will fall off.

STEP 5:

Sandpaper the edges until smooth.
