I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve questioned this very thing. I don’t know about you, but I’m frequently baffled by why bad things happen to good or innocent people and/or why good things seem to come to the corrupt and unkind…it’s NOT FAIR. I think it’s above our pay level or comprehension to understand such things.

Here’s a little perspective though for the next time we may think our circumstances aren’t fair. There may be times when we think we have it bad, but to an outside observer who has it worse than you at that very moment may think your bad is a blessing. In other words what is fair? It seems to quite subjective and based of what we think we should receive at any given moment and sometimes in comparison to others.

I don’t wanna create cheap explanations and it doesn’t work always so simple but my personal experience is that ‘good or bad’ are not always so easy to distinguish. While you trouble with a problem it feels nothing than bad and you wish it to dissapear. Usally problems don’t do us the favor to end in smoke and we must learn to deal with. Than, sometimes years later we turn around and see what we’ve learned and much we grew because the challenge…. But I agree very much with you – it is very hard to see when innocent people like children suffer.
And I agree very much with your >It seems to quite subjective and based of what we think….< sometimes we complain on a very high level!

totally agree. it’s also super subjective. we all have our own opinions about what is good and bad. there aren’t many absolutes in life. and you’re right, when we are in the trenches of our problems all seems lost and then add a little and reflection and quite often we have indeed grown from it. thanks for you great feedback 🙂

“Unfairness” is a part of life, it’s how you deal with it that makes the difference. 🙂

Another of your thought provoking posts on one of life’s important lessons – the apparent unfairness of it all. Yet, like you observed it is all relative and a matter of perspective too. I try to hope and look for the best, be prepared for the worst, remember the good times and appreciate what I have. It appears that you do too. 🙂

Thanks buddy, always appreciate your approval. Yup, you said it. If it’s good prepare for the bad and when it’s bad look forward to the good. Remembering the trials I’ve overcome help me get through the current rough roads. Not always easy to do right, but I try. Good to hear your outlook 🙂

  5. I like the post….But I’m not one on these people you speak of I’m that bad person who knows why bad things happen to them but it was still nice to read 🙂

Would Love To Hear What You Think
